Masterworks Concert- Hurst, Texas

What a great showing we had inspite of the rain, as it was standing room only at the Masterworks Concert held at the Public Library in Hurst. They couldn't help but clap, move, and groove to the Canta beat. Thank you ARTSNET for having us out, we had a blast and we hope to be back again next year!

Central Market Southlake

It was a warm and breezy night in Southlake, just right to pack the place at Central Market in Southlake as people of all ages took in great food and great tunes by CANTA. A special thanks to all of our VERY loyal Canta fans who came out to see us, it's always fun to sit and visit with you on our breaks. Lisa was presented with a bouquet of appreciation flowers and a cool necklace from long time CANTA fans Robert & Mary Gonzalez......now that's the way you treat a Diva!!

A great time was had by all at the awards banquet for Head Start.  The Dallas Sheraton's roof almost came down when the whole room was singing and dancing to "Respect"!  Canta provided the grooves and they showed us their moves.  Thanks for a great event!

Prepare Fair- Trinity Park, Fort Worth

Thanks to everyone who came out to the first annual PrepareFair at Trinity Park in Fort Worth. We had a blast with former WFAA weatherman Troy Dungan and Mix 102.9 giving away all the cool FREE stuff including the food! Thanks to State Farm and the National Weather Service who sponsored the entire event, we now KnoWhat2Do in case of emergencies!

The Open Heart Gala

gcampos.jpgCANTA was privileged to play for over 400 people at the Open Your Heart Gala at Park Lane Ranch in Dallas on Feb 13. Mistress of Ceremonies was WFAA-TV Channel 8 news anchor Gloria Campos. For the "South of the Border" theme, CANTA played a hot mix of Latin and Big Band music. A great time for a great cause!         -- Lisa
