The Open Heart Gala

CANTA was privileged to play for over 400 people at the Open Your Heart Gala at Park Lane Ranch in Dallas on Feb 13. Mistress of Ceremonies was WFAA-TV Channel 8 news anchor Gloria Campos. For the "South of the Border" theme, CANTA played a hot mix of Latin and Big Band music. A great time for a great cause! -- Lisa

CANTA - Rocks the Winstar Roadhouse

Thanks to all that came out to see us play at the Winstar Roadhouse at the Fort Worth Stockshow and Rodeo this weekend.

The dance floor was hopping for most of the night as people enjoyed the variety of music we played and our blistering horn section. Keep watching the website for our next public performance, and come out to see us!

Dec 19 - Armed Forces Party

We had a blast Sat. night honoring America's Finest Armed Forces. It was a special "thank you" for our military going and coming home from Iraq and their families.

We revved up the music and got the party started after a romantic dinner, with some classic Latin tunes mixed with 70's, 80's, 90's music along with some current songs.

We enjoyed seeing America's finest and their families have a great time on the dance floor late into the evening. We wish them all a Happy New Year and safe return for the ones set to deploy soon. It was a thank you party we'll all remember for a long long time. ~ Lisa
